This social and nature connection program with a forest-themed curriculum following the 8-Shields model of learning is agricultural-based and supplemental to your chosen academic home-learning pathway. The 8 Shields Model is based on the patterns and cycles found in nature, such as the sun rising in the East, moving across to the South, dropping down in the West, and resting in the North. Animals, plants, and humans alike have different behaviours and energy depending on the seasons, and this cycle applies to the plant, animal, and human life cycle too. 

We help connect children and families to each other and to our forest & animal friends with up to 24 registration spots for children aged 5 - 12 years who are enrolled in a distant-learning pathway at home.
